21-Day Fast
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

WHY WE ARE FASTING
As we enter 2026, we recognize this as a year marked by God's Name.
In Hebrew understanding, the number 26 corresponds to YHWH — the sacred covenant name of God. When God places His name on something, it is no longer casual or common. It requires reverence, alignment, and intentional living.
This 21-day fast is a season of consecration, preparation, and spiritual alignment so that we can carry His Name well in this year.
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” (Joshua 3:5)
FAST DATES
-
Start: Sunday, January 11, 2026
-
End: Sunday, February 1, 2026
-
Length: 21 Days
THE PURPOSE OF THE FAST
During these 21 days, we are seeking God for:
-
Spiritual cleansing and renewal
-
Clear direction for 2026
-
Alignment with God’s will
-
Increased sensitivity to the Holy Spirit
-
Preparation to represent God with integrity
This is not a diet, a ritual, or a religious obligation. It is a voluntary act of surrender and a spiritual posture of humility.
FASTING INSTRUCTIONS
One Unified Corporate Fast
During the 21-Day Fast (January 11 – February 1, 2026), we are calling the church to a single, unified fasting approach. Please use wisdom and consult a physician if you have medical conditions. However, we recognize that some individuals may feel led to participate through the Daniel Fast due to health, conviction, or spiritual discipline.
PRIMARY CORPORATE FAST (ENCOURAGED)
-
One meal per day, moderate portions:
-
Meat: Grilled, baked, or roasted.
-
Vegetable: Steamed, roasted, or raw.
-
Light Starches: rice, potatoes, beans, whole grains.
-
-
No fried food.
-
No Bread.
-
Liquid (water, tea, broth, natural juices w/ no sugar added) for the remainder of the day.
-
No sweets or unnecessary indulgences.
-
Reduce entertainment and distractions like social media, television, streaming.
ALTERNATIVE OPTION: DANIEL FAST (APPROVED)
Daniel Fast Guidelines:
-
Fruits and vegetables
-
Whole grains, legumes
-
Water and natural juices
-
No meat, dairy, sugar, fried foods, or processed foods
This option should be entered with the same heart posture of consecration and restraint.
The goal is less flesh, more spirit. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
